A runner under lockdown in Bolton is planning to complete a charity marathon in his own living room. Paul Holliday had been planning to run three marathons in six weeks from this weekend to raise money for a disability charity but the coronavirus pandemic has resulted in all three events being postponed.
So instead Paul is going to run the 26.22 mile length of a full marathon inside the living room of his mid-terrace house in Bolton.
Paul, who is currently on furlough leave from his job as head of media at Bolton Wanderers, planned the runs in order to raise money for disability charity High Five Lancashire.
