LEE Mack has shared an emotional tribute to 'comedy hero' Bobby Ball after the star sadly passed away from coronavirus aged 76.
The 52-year-old comedian revealed he was "utterly shocked" by the news after filming with Bobby just a few weeks ago. Bobby - one half of the much-loved comedy duo Cannon & Ball - previously appeared in Lee's sitcom Not Going Out.
Since then, the two have become real life friends. Lee told The Sun Online: "I’m utterly shocked and devastated to lose my mate Bobby like this. "I filmed with him just a few weeks ago and he was his usual funny and cheeky self. "My thoughts are with Yvonne and his family, and of course Tommy. "To get to work with one of my childhood comedy heroes was great.
