It looks the Matilda movie musical has found its Miss Honey! Lashana Lynch is in final negotiations to join the cast of the upcoming movie adaption of the musical heading to Netflix, The Hollywood Reporter reports.

The 33-year-old British actress is best known for playing Maria Rambeau opposite Brie Larson in Captain America and will be appearing as the new 007 in the upcoming James Bond movie No Time to Die. Embeth Davidtz played the kind-hearted teacher that befriends Matilda in the 1996 film adaption of the Roald Dahl book.

Back in May, it was reported that Killing Eve star Jodie Comer was in talks to play Miss Honey in the Matilda musical movie, but it appears that plans fell through.
