A Lanarkshire palliative care nurse, who has the gene that leads to Huntington’s disease, has been appointed to the board of trustees of the only charity in Scotland exclusively dedicated to supporting people whose lives are affected by the condition.Gillian McNab, of Lanark, tested positive for the gene that leads to Huntington’s disease shortly after her 40th birthday.
