Lanarkshire golf club to receive almost £50k in funding

A Clydesdale golf club is to benefit from almost £50,000 from the Renewable Energy Fund.Leadhills Golf Club in Biggar, which is Scotland’s highest golf course, will receive £48,768 from Greencoat Capital Andershaw Windfarm, a contributor to the Renewable Energy Fund.The money will help the club to buy new machinery, including two ride-on mowers, a walk-behind mower and a trailer to transport tools and equipment.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
