Lanarkshire residents express concern over potholes and poor pavements

Residents in a Lanarkshire town have expressed concern over the state of pavements and roads where they live. Locals living around Trossachs Road in Cathkin have called on South Lanarkshire Council to take action to try and help improve an area they say is riddled with potholes and cracks.

Someone is going to end up badly hurt because of this."Rutherglen South councillor Robert Brown told Lanarkshire Live he was aware of local concerns.He said: "I have been concerned about the deteriorating condition of pavements in the area for some time.
