Lanarkshire first aid volunteer honoured for 30 years of service

A St Andrew’s First Aid Company Commandant from Lanarkshire has been awarded a special commendation at a prestigious awards ceremony.

Joe Mulholland, Company Commandant for the Rutherglen Corps company, has volunteered with St Andrew’s First Aid, Scotland’s only dedicated first aid charity, for 30 years.

Last week Joe was presented with the Douglas Bremner Special Commendation Award at the Scottish First Aid Awards, with the honour which recognising an individual who has carried out outstanding acts of first aid.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
