A new report from Page Six suggested that the YouTuber, Jake Paul, has been accused of participating in the looting of an Arizona mall earlier this weekend following the death of an unarmed man in police custody, an event that kicked off protests across the United States. TMZ reported that the 23-year-old can be seen wearing a mask amongst a crowd of protestors at the Fashion Square Mall, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Jake Paul is speaking out after he was spotted at a looted Arizona mall on Saturday. The 23-year-old YouTuber had participated in a protest over the killing of George Floyd, who was killed on Monday after a police officer pinned him down by the neck in Minneapolis. 

YouTube star Jake Paul has responded to social media backlash after some alleged he was looting and destroying property during protests in Scottsdale, Arizona. Last night, Paul and his friends were broadcasting live as they followed protests throughout the area, eventually arriving at the Fashion Square Mall as stores were robbed and demolished.

Jake Paul has landed in hot water after he filmed the looting of an Arizona shopping mall, in the wake of George Floyd‘s tragic death. The controversial YouTuber responded with a lengthy statement on Twitter on May 31, claiming he wasn’t participating in any vandalism, but simply documenting it. “Neither I, nor anyone in our group, was engaged in any looting or vandalism,” he wrote, addressing the protests and outcry sweeping the nation, in response to the unarmed black man’s death at the hands of Minneapolis police.

Jake Paul is making it clear that he was not looting.
