But the big guns will likely return this summer and national boss Stale Solbakken, who was appointed in December, has put pressure on his defensive rock to leave Glasgow at the end of the Premiership season.
In an interview with Norwegian newspaper VG, Solbakken said: "He has to change league now. He must. "He does not have enough challenges in everyday life there."I think he has got some habits which you do not notice until he meets better opposition in international matches or Europe.
