Kirsty Gallacher will never regain hearing and has 'low buzz' after ear tumour
ok.co.ukKirsty Gallacher will not have the same hearing again after suffering a tumour in her ear. The TV presenter revealed the extent of her health experiences to the Loose Women panellists on Friday February 4.
The 46 year old explained: "I couldn't hear very well in my right ear, thought thats a bit odd - maybe I am getting a cold or something. "It was nothing horrendous, just slightly off but I thought right okay it will pop at some point." Waiting for her hearing to return to normal, Kirsty believed a flight would sort the niggling issue.

She added: "I went on a plane the next week. I thought surely it will pop getting on an aeroplane with the altitude but it didn't." Kirsty told Kaye Adams, Katie Piper, Frankie Bridge and Nadia Sawalha how quickly the problem developed.The TV presenter of 25 years was told by experts the issue was an acoustic neuroma, "a small pea in the inner ear canal." The radio presenter said she now experiences "a low buzz most of the time." "It's like being in your own brain", the star explained, as she revealed how the diagnosed Tinnitus has affected her work.
