Kilmarnock entrepreneur donates £100,000 to feed vulnerable people during coronavirus crisis

Kilmarnock entrepreneur Marie Macklin CBE has donated £100,000 to help people in need during the coronavirus outbreak. She has launched a community fund called Lift Up Your Hearts – which aims to deliver 20,000 meals.The project has teamed up with charity Centrestage and Braehead Foods to prepare and deliver free meals to homes in Kilmarnock and across East Ayrshire.
