Kidnapper who will be free in just 3 years after leaving teenager, 19, brain damaged to have sentence reviewed
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA thug who left a 19-year-old girl brain damaged after kidnapping her is due to have his sentence reviewed with three years to go until he's free.
Angel Lynn suffered life-changing injuries after her ex-boyfriend, Chay Bowskill, and his friend Rocco Sansome kidnapped her.
The pair, both 20, were jailed on Thursday with Bowskill, of Empingham Drive, receiving a seven-and-a-half-year sentence while Sansome received 21 months at Leicester Crown Court. Read more: But the Attorney General, Suella Braverman, has confirmed a complaint has been filed in regards to Bowskill's sentence, the Mirror reports.
The complaint will be reviewed with the legal chief deciding whether it will be referred to the Court of Appeal or not. It comes after Angel's family declared they were "furious" at Bowskill's "unduly lenient" sentence.
