On Monday the televised state funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth was broadcasted on screens across the globe. And among the members of the royal family taking part in the ceremony were the young Prince George and Princess Charlotte , two of the Queen’s great grandchildren.

Now, appearing on Tuesday’s This Morning , journalist and broadcaster Camilla Tonimey has defended parents Prince William and Kate Middleton for choosing to include two of their three children in the solemn occasion.

Turning her attention to the young royals, Holly said: “And you've got the young royals yesterday.” "They did Gan-Gan proud," Phillip replied, referencing the affectionate name the Queen was known by to her grandchildren.
