VETERAN actor Kenneth Tsang has died in a Covid quarantine hotel in Hong Kong, reports say. He was 86. His long screen career included roles in blockbuster Hollywood action films such as Die Another Day and Rush Hour 2.

Tsang was in mandatory quarantine after returning from a trip to Singapore on Monday. Ministry of Health staff found him unconscious at the Kowloon Hotel today after he failed to answer the door during daily checks, reports the South China Morning Post.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. A source told the paper Tsang had tested negative for Covid yesterday. Hong Kong - which is battling a spike in Covid cases - requires everyone coming from overseas to spend ten days in an official quarantine hotel.
