stumped up more than £5,000 in just days for the victims of the Stonehaven derailment disaster. Passenger Christopher Stuchbury, driver Brett McCullough and conductor Donald Dinnie all lost their lives on Wednesday morning after a train plunged down an embankment near the Aberdeenshire town.

Several people were injured and emergency services were only alerted after a heroic train worker walked more than three miles to raise the alarm.
