Kate Beckinsale continues to mourn the loss of her father, Richard Beckinsale, more than 40 years after his death. The "Underworld" actress paid tribute to the popular British television star who died of a heart attack at their family home in 1979.

He was 31. "March 19th,1979. And we were never the same again," Beckinsale, 47, wrote in a post shared to Instagram.Thank you to everyone who has kept him alive in our hearts and on our lips.
