Kamaal Williams finds his groove on “Mr Wu”

This Friday London-born producer and multi-instrumentalist Kamaal Williams will release his second album, Wu Hen, a record that he describes as "a revolution of the mind" and "a spiritual rebellion." The three tracks he's released since announcing the project back in May — "One More Time," "1989," and "Hold On" — all poked at the boundaries of his jazz-R&B fusion, exploring the limits of his taste for slow jams and high-energy breaks.

But his latest single, "Mr Wu," premiering above, has him right in the center of his groove, building off of neon synths and inviting each member of his band to the front of the mix one at a time.
