Jurors in a murder trial were told of text message exchanges between a 17-year-old boy and one of the teenagers accused of killing him.

Alan Szelugowski was found dead on the morning of January 29 in Clowes Park, a jury has previously been told. He was stabbed and slashed more than 20 times in a 10 to 15 minute period, the court was told as the trial began.

Three youths, all now 17, who cannot be named for legal reasons, deny murdering Alan. One of the defendants, Boy A, was 17 at the time and is alleged to have recruited two 16-year-old boys - Boy B and Boy C - before Boy A 'lured' Alan to the park to be attacked.
