On Thursday (May 5), the 35-year-old Grammy winner announced that he and his team have tested positive for the virus, and would therefore will be postponing his upcoming American Symphony performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City. The world premiere of his American Symphony will be rescheduled,” Carnegie Hall announced on their website. “I thank all my supporters for their love and understanding,” Jon added in the statement. “See you all soon!” Jon was originally supposed to take the stage at Carnegie Hall on Saturday, May 7.
As of right now, a rescheduled date has not yet been announced. Jon and his team’s positive test results come just several days after he attended the 2022 Met Gala.
