JESY NELSON’S solo album is on ice after early versions of her new tracks failed to impress record label bosses, sources say.

The former Little Mix star released her much-awaited debut single Boyz, which featured Nicki Minaj as well as a video cameo from rapper-turned-mogul P Diddy, in October.

But there has been no sign of new music from her since. Sources last night claimed Jesy was sent “back to the drawing board” by execs at her label Polydor after they heard her unfinished efforts.

We’re told there is currently no date pencilled in for the album’s release. One source said: “Jesy has worked incredibly hard on her solo music. “After releasing Boyz last year, she let the label hear early versions of the songs she had come up with. “The bosses felt sure there was potential there but they wanted her to go back to the drawing board.
