Jamie Carragher has sided with Gary Neville following his outrage over Manchester United players' social media use. Neville had originally tweeted his dismay over United players being seen at the F1, UFC and other sporting events during the March international break.

In his original tweet, Neville said: "I remember a time when United players, managers, executives wouldn't be seen in their local Italian after a draw at home let alone getting knocked out of Europe.

This last week we've seen a global tour of F1, Concerts, Cricket and UFC events. This lot are tone deaf." Some of Neville's followers expressed sympathy for the United squad stating that they are humans too.

Match of the Day host Gary Lineker was among those not impressed by the former United man's comments.
