On Friday there was classic Corrie drama as Toyah revealed at her adoption hearing with fiance Imran Habeeb that he had been cheating on her and had a secret baby with their drug addict neighbour Abi Franklin.
She told the social worker that she couldn't go through with the adoption with Imran for Elsie's sake. "I can't risk you hurting her too," she said.
And she told him: "That's what you do. That's what you are. You're a liar." Fans were cheering in Monday night's episode (April 4) as Toyah decided to adopt Elsie on her own.
But she was devastated to be turned down by the social worker who said it wouldn't be in Elsie's 'best interests' while Toyah is going through a split.
