direct to your inboxA successful businesswoman who was diagnosed with dyslexia at 19 has been celebrated with an award from the Prince’s Trust.From primary school to high school, Noor Kimit grew up thinking she couldn’t to read or write.She was only diagnosed with dyslexia at 19 after spending years in the education system without support.Noor says that lack of funding meant that her problems were overlooked.It wasn't until a maths teacher in college noticed something off about the way she wrote her numbers and told her she should take a test.Noor says funding was scarce and it was only at university where the money and resources were available to pay for her test and she received her diagnosis.
