A well-used Stockport cut though that flooded last year is once submerged under water. The path, which is between Moscow Road East and Booth Street in Edgeley has been described by a resident as being 'like something out of Second World War' film.
Dom Robinson, who lives in the area and has been blogging about the path, reported it to Stockport council last year after days of heavy rainfall - that also flooded large parts of the borough - left the path underwater.
The water was subsequently pumped away but is now ankle deep in stagnant water again, making it unusable for most people. It means that anyone who normally uses the path, which is a shortcut from part of Edgeley to the town centre and railway station, now faces a lengthy detour
