Independent girls' school slammed for not meeting required standards

Beis Malka Girls School was judged to be "good" in categories of assessment covering quality of education, behaviour and attitudes and early years provision.
But its overall rating as well as its personal development and leadership and management was said to "require improvement". The school on Bury New Road, Higher Broughton, has 309 pupils aged from three to 16, all of whom are girls.
Following the inspection on May 10 to 12, the Ofsted report by lead inspector Mavis Smith and inspector Maria McGarry said the school did not meet the requirements of the Schedule to the Education (Independent School Standards) Regulations 2014.
