DINNER parties are a perfect way to bring close friends together for an evening of fun – except for if you're on Married At First Sight.

So far in this year's MAFS UK, we've seen tears, arguments and a scandal over who spread salacious gossip. Now former star Lara Eyre, 50, lifts the lid on the sneaky way some of that drama is engineered to ensure a fiery and foul-mouthed feast.

The waitress was partnered with guitarist Richie Dews on the hit E4 dating show, but last week claimed he was "fake" and only interested in fame in a scathing interview with The Sun.

She tells The Sun about the unusual way couples are brought into dinner parties, how long commitment ceremonies really last and the way scenes are sneakily edited to make 'storylines'.
