In September 2016, she began appearing as a panellist on Loose Women and in November of the same year she presented the I'm a Celebrity spin-off series I'm a Celebrity: Extra Camp.

STACEY Solomon has revealed working tax credits saved her life when she was a young single mum. Long before she found fame on the X Factor, a teenage Stacey was short of cash and struggling to raise eldest son Zachary.

On yesterday's Loose Women she discussed the cost of living crisis and the overhaul of the benefits system as it transitions to the universal credit model.

Stacey said: "When I had Zachary at 17, 18, I got a Sure Start Grant, it was called at the time, and I can't tell you how much that saved my life. "My working tax credits saved our life, we could not have got by without those.

The milk tokens that we used to get to help us buy SMA and milk and stuff from the shops that we couldn't afford. "All of that got abolished.
