The Women's Night Walk event saw women join together at Ryebank Fields in Chorlton to walk together and highlight fears over being outside in our city at night.

A minute's silence was held to remember victims such as Sarah Everard, PCSO Julia James, and those who have been the victim of violence or harassment on the streets.

As the torrential rain finally eased off, women lit candles and read poems as they gathered in the field's woodlands together.
