Argyll and Bute have been confirmed as those of missing Scot Tony Parsons. The 66-year-old, from Tillicoultry, vanished during a charity bike ride in 2017 in Fort William.
The remains were discovered near Bridge of Orchy, during a detailed search of a remote site close to where he was last seen.
Parsons had been missing since Friday, September 29, 2017.He had embarked on a charity cycle. He travelled from his Wee County home to Fort William, with the intention of cycling home.
He was reported missing on Monday, October 2, 2017.Parsons travelled south on the A82 and was last seen around 11.30pm that night outside the Bridge of Orchy Hotel.On Tuesday, January 12, 2021, specialist search officers, supported by forensic scientists, discovered.
