A teenage boy was brutally beaten and stabbed in an unprovoked attack while standing at a bus stop. The victim was knifed while waiting for a bus on December 14.

He managed to escape the scene in Kingstanding, Birmingham, and return home where an ambulance was called for him, police said.

Birmingham Live reports that the blade missed the boy's vital organs and he was later discharged from hospital.West Midlands Police released CCTV footage of three people that they are keen to speak to who they believe may have information about the attack.
