A hospital consultant accused of sexually assaulting three women he was performing medical examinations on has protested his innocence.

Dr Narendra Kochar, 50, from Timperley, denies six counts of sexual assault in relation to three female complainants. The alleged offences are said to have taken place when he worked at the Manchester Royal Infirmary.

Taking to the witness box, Dr Kochar gave his account to jurors following the conclusion of the prosecution case. Under cross examination by prosecutor Darren Preston, Dr Kochar agreed that he believed his conduct in relation to two of the complainants had been 'completely faultless'.
