News of the restraining order made headlines in late March, with it being reported that the Fantastic Beasts star had “burst into the bedroom of the petitioner(s) and threatened” the alleged male victim by “saying ‘I will bury you and your slut wife.’” The incident came after Ezra was arrested in Hawaii for allegedly harassing patrons at a local karaoke bar.

A hearing for the arrest has been scheduled for April 26. For the traffic case, police arrived at a dispute in downtown Hilo where Ezra was “uncooperative and refused to leave the area and continued to obstruct the sidewalk.” They were cited for obstructing a highway.
