Hamilton Town House to be lit up in red for International Kawasaki Disease Awareness Day

A prominent Hamilton building will be illuminated in red this Friday to raise awareness of Kawasaki disease in memory of a much-loved local baby.Six-month-old Jaime Donnelly tragically died in September 2017 from the condition, which is the leading cause of acquired heart disease in under-fives.Now his mum Heather Hinshelwood has arranged for Hamilton Town House to be lit up in the colour of support charity Societi on January 26 to mark International Kawasaki Disease Awareness Day.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
