A Hamilton designer is leading an initiative in the Black Lives Matter movement that puts education at the forefront of changing racial inequality.Joseph Epemolu, 22, has witnessed ignorant behaviour throughout his life and has found himself placed in wrongful stereotypes because of the colour of his skin.Harmful language and racial slurs are just the tip of the iceberg, Joseph said as he discussed his unpleasant experiences as a black person living in Scotland in an exclusive interview with the Hamilton Advertiser.However, he has now made his life about taking action, and his brand Amplify Black Voices founded with friend Aidan Maloney, is doing just that — creating unique clothing of expression, with all proceeds going to charities that.
