manchestereveningnews.co.ukMore dry and mild weather is expected across Greater Manchester this weekend after several unseasonably warm days. Temperatures touched 20 degrees Celcius in the region on Thursday and Friday, several degrees above average for the time of year.
Despite there being a blanket of cloud cover in many areas, the low cloud eventually gave way to prolonged sunny spells on Friday making it another warm feeling day.
And forecasters say we are likely to see more of the Saturday before the mercury starts to fall to more predictable levels for October next week.
