GP surgery issues alert after confirming Stockport coronavirus patient visited centre

People who may have been sat in a doctor's waiting room with a confirmed coronavirus patient in Stockport are being urgently contacted, it has been reveled today.

Gatley Medical Centre say one of their patients has been confirmed as having contracted the highly contagious flu-like virus, also known as Covid-19.

That person attended the practice on Old Hall Road last Wednesday afternoon, February 26. And they say they are in the process of contacting anyone who may have been sat in the waiting room with them.
