Officers made the arrest during a 'Kill the Bill' demonstration in the city centre on Saturday (March 27). The woman was one of eighteen people arrested after hundreds of campaigners gathered to protest against a new government policing bill.
Images of her arrest sparked outrage on social media as they appeared to show her jeans being pulled down as she was dragged away by officers, leaving her exposed in just her underwear.
