A man in his 20s suffered serious head injuries following the crash, on Dickenson Road, just before 7.30pm on Friday evening (April 9).

He was rushed to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening or life changing, police said. Police are now asking for witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to come forward after the scooter rider failed to stop at the scene.
