Gentleman Jack's Suranne Jones on 'coming home to Yorkshire' as cast meet fans on red carpet

After a long three year wait, the second exciting instalment of the drama which charts the life of Anne Lister, a pioneering diarist often described as the ‘first modern lesbian’ will be returning to our screens in April this year.
Ahead of the release, a lucky handful of viewers were able to watch a sneak peak of the first episode at tonight’s premiere, while also sitting down to experience a Q&A session with the stars. Speaking to our reporter Monde Mwitumwa on the red carpet she said: “The first time, I was getting in, feeling my way through the landscape, and the second time it was like coming home.
