Furniture giant Harveys to enter administration today as Scots workers told by email

The news was broken by Blue Group CEO Mark Jackson who told workers he was informing them with "heartfelt regret". Blue Group was bought over by Alteri Investments in recent months.As part of the deal it also took over bed giant Bensons for Beds, which will be saved under the restructuring plans.It has around 270 stores across the UK.Jackson told workers: "Despite our operational capabilities and the injection of additional capital, trading was challenging for us prior to ‘lockdown’."The retail market in which we operated was difficult and uncertain with customers reining in spending.
