A furious John Swinney has blasted a Tory MSP during First Minister's Questions. The First Minister slammed Craig Hoy as the Scottish Conservative chairman was shouting at him in Holyrood on Thursday afternoon.Swinney said that Hoy should "stop behaving badly" in the chamber while the Tory MSP continued to remonstrate with him.It came during a feisty session in which Scottish Conservative leader Douglas Ross pressed Swinney on how many people would die due to Winter Fuel Payment cuts.Presiding officer Alison Johnstone had already asked MSPs to stop shouting while other members were speaking.Swinney said: "At the same time as we've got a budget cut of £160 million about Winter Fuel Payments, we're affording over £800m of additional costs to meet the cost of pay bills so that teachers and nurses and other members of the public services who are delivering vital services in our country..."The angry FM then turned to the Conservative benches and gestured with his right hand as he said: "Why are you still shouting at me Mr Hoy?"You've got to listen to the Presiding Officer."There were then groans from the Tory benches.Swinney continued: "You've got to listen to the Presiding Officer and stop behaving badly."Hoy continued to shout at the First Minister and gestured his right hand at the SNP leader as he did so.He looked visibly annoyed.Johnstone then intervened: "I can assure the First Minister that I am wholly prepared to chair this meeting."I will not have members...

I will not have any members shouting at one another."So let's start to conduct ourselves in an appropriate manner for this parliament."Swinney then continued his answer. To sign up to the Daily Record Politics newsletter, click here
