Full inquest into death of woman to be held this year after husband acquitted of murder

Paula Leeson, 47, from Sale, drowned in a swimming pool on holiday in Norre Nobel, Denmark on June 6, 2017. A full inquest into her death will take place at South Manchester Coroners’ Court in December 2021, a pre-inquest hearing heard on Monday (August 9).

Ms Leeson’s husband Donald McPherson, 47, also from Sale, previously appeared in a court trial in March accused of her murder.
