According to data on the government’s interactive Covid-19 tracking map, areas that had fewer than three new cases confirmed in the week ending June 1 have ‘suppressed’ the virus there – as things stand.

In the week ending May 19, 17 areas in Trafford were in this position, making up around two thirds of the borough’s total area.
