The pair, along with Yangel Herrera and Slobodan Tedic, have yet to make a first team appearance for City, and have all previously spent time out on loan from the CFA.

Rio Ave say they have an option to purchase Meshino, a Japanese under-23 international, at the end of the loan. Palaversa joined City from Hajduk Split in 2019 for £7m and he returned to the Croatian side on loan before spending last season at KV Oostende in Belgium.
