Four people have died after COVID-19 struck one of Ayr’s biggest care homes.The 75-bed Glenfairn Care Home on Racecourse Road has been battling an outbreak for the last fortnight.But the deadly disease has now claimed lives, while a string of residents remain isolated with symptoms.We revealed last week how staff were trying to contain the virus following the first confirmed cases.But it's now been revealed a number have died since the disease took hold.
