STAR Wars filming has begun with a sprawling set popping up in rural Buckinghamshire. The former quarry in Little Marlow will be the sci-fi backdrop for the Obi-Wan Kenobi spin-off TV series.
Actors could be seen walking around the set which has taken four months to build and could be in place for three years. Disney has spent over £1 million building the set which will star Ewan McGregor who will reprise his prequels role as Obi-Wan Kenobi.
But some of the locals haven't been entirely happy and it has sparked dozens of complaints over disturbing wildlife, light pollution and traffic.
Pictures of the site show huge construction alongside a lake at a former quarry, with dozens of small buildings forming a town alongside a host of large.
