AMAZON Prime’s Hanna is back for a second season and it sees a dastardly new villain begin the hunt for the deadly teen. The action-packed show is an adaptation of the 2011 Saoirse Ronan film of the same name, and up until the teaser dropped on YouTube fans had no idea bosses were even working on another series.

At the end of season one, Hanna, played by Esmé Creed-Miles, discovered she was not the only young woman with unparalleled skill and elite training.

The sinister Utrax program has produced a whole army of lethal teenagers whose development is about to reach the deadly “second phase.” The trailer opens with new villain John Carmichael, played by Hollywood hunk Dermot Mulroney, as the Utrax overseer hunting down a now bleach blonde.

50 Cent to produce movie based on DC’s ‘Xerø’ comics

50 Cent (aka Curtis Jackson) is set to make his move into superhero cinema, with the rapper-come-media mogul signing on to produce at least one film based on DC’s Xerø comics.Deadline reports that Jackson will steer the project through his production company, G-Unit Film & Television, in tandem with Color Farm Media’s Erika Alexander and Ben Arnon. Xerø creator Christopher Priest is also linked to the project, with Joseph Illidge – CEO of production and publishing company Illuminous – rounding out the production team. Notable is that the Xerø film will be a wholly independent production, with neither DC nor WarnerMedia involved in the project.
