New figures have revealed a spike in the number of coronavirus-related deaths in Bolton after 17 patients were reported to have died.The data, provided by Public Health England, shows that four people died in the town's hospitals after contracting the virus on Friday, with a further five on Saturday, seven on Sunday and one yesterday.There can be delays in the reporting of deaths which could put the actually figure for the last few days above 17.But, adding up the latest data available would mean that 339 people have now died in Bolton since the Covid-19 pandemic began.This includes 110 patients who have passed away during the second wave of the disease, accounting for around one third of the total number of deaths in the borough.However,.
