The property on Winchester Avenue in Prestwich is believed to have been the frontman’s home until his death in 2008. The singer died at the age of 60 after a long illness with lung and kidney cancer.

Born in Broughton, Mark founded The Fall with friends Martin Bramah, Una Baines and Tony Friel in 1976.
