Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.

A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.

He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.

Erik ten Hag's impact on display as Marcus Rashford absent - six things spotted in Man United training

Manchester United were put through their paces by Erik ten Hag on Monday ahead of their Europa League clash against Sheriff Tiraspol.

United will be looking to bounce back after their opening defeat to Real Sociedad in Group E last week. Ten Hag's side lost to their La Liga opposition owing to a controversial penalty decision that cost the Reds at least a point.

It was not the best performance from United's squad this season, as Ten Hag hoped his rotated side would have put in a higher level of performance.

There had been doubts over the match after the Premier League - and Football League - decided to postpone all games over the weekend after Queen Elizabeth II passed away, aged 96, on Thursday, at her Balmoral estate in Scotland.
